How To Enable WhatsApp Two Step Verification

Follow these simple steps to enable your WhatsApp two step verification…

  1. Open WhatsApp in Your Phone.
  2. Now from above 3 dot menu open “Settings”
  3. Here in settings select first option “Account”
  4. In account you will see a option ” Two-Step Verification” select and open it.
  5. Now in this “Two-Step Verification you will see a home screen with a button at center ” Enable” click and enable it.
  6.  Here, now enter a “Six Digit Pin” and click “Next” and type again and confirm it.
  7. Now enter your “Email address” and hit “Save”
  8. Two Step verification is now enabled.

How To Disable Your WhatsApp Two Step Verification

Have you forgot your six digit verification pin ? Want to disable it how ? Here are few simple steps which will disable your two step verification.

~Method One~

( This method work when your WhatsApp is accessible from your phone)

  1. Open WhatsApp in Your Phone.
  2. Now from above 3 dot menu open “Settings”
  3. Here in settings select first option “Account”
  4. In account you will see a option ” Two-Step Verification” select and open it.
  5. Here you will see a message ” Two step verification is enabled enter your passcode when registering.”
  6. Now just simply click “Disable” a popup will open again click disable.
  7. Your WhatsApp two step verification has been disabled.

~Method Two~

  1. Open Your WhatsApp account and fill all necessary details like Mobile No., OTP, now it will ask you 6 digit verification pin.
  2. Now here you will see a option “Forget Pin” click it, it will open a popup windows showing ” If you have added a alternate email while setting up you can reset your pin”
  3. Here you will see a option ” Send Email” now it will send you a Email with reset link.
  4. Now open your email account which you have been submitted during enabling your two step verification.
  5. In email inbox you will notice a mail from WhatsApp, Open it.
  6. Click on the link at bottom, It will ask you ” Confirm you would like to disable two step verification” Click on “Confirm”
  7. It will show a message mentioned as your WhatsApp two step verification is removed.
  8. Now open WhatsApp You will see your account has been automatically login. If not then close and again open WhatsApp.
